This book is an absolute must for anyone visiting Austin or for those who frequently host Austin visitors! As an Austin resident for the last 10 years, this book will be my go to when recommending activities to friends and family. Like the book mentioned, I myself have gotten into a rut doing and recommending the same activities and now I can have visitors flip through the book for some fresh, fun ideas. I've followed the blog since it's inception and am so glad the book captured the best of the best and put it in print. Can't wait to see what the blog will bring in the years to come!

This is an absolute must-have for anyone either visiting or living in Austin! I have lived in Austin for nearly 7 years, and was shocked by the amount of things in this book I have not done. It is a great coffee table book, and an awesome gift for a friend just moving to Austin. I recently bought one for a co-worker that just moved to town, and she has been going through it week by week and checking off all of the amazing things this book has to tell you about! I love that no matter what mood I am in, I know I can open the book and find something perfect for the day. I am a huge foodie, and love that it has so many places I have not been, including secret menus!!!! like eating goodies from food trucks

I lived in Austin in the late 70s and early 80s and still visit When I can. According to Kristy Owen, I'm about half ready to die. Some of the "must do" activities are long-time traditions, and some, like eating goodies from food trucks, are new. I would add a few, including viewing the Guttenberg Bible at the Harry Ransom Museum. I would also list fewer dining experiences, as restaurants change in quality or close down all together. However, the book offers a good starting list of the many adventures Austin offers.

I appreciate how Bishop Kenneth doesn't simply try to prove a theory of atonement as incorrect (thereby destroying pillars in which many Christians in the West stand on). He builds new pillars of foundation based on old knowledge of what the early church fathers agreed on as true gospel. The back and forth dialogue style of this book sounds like an actual conversations I would have with others, so I appreciate as well that I can reference this book at any time and see what a healthy version of this conversation should look like. I recommend this book for those who have had trouble with the Penal Substitutionary Atonement model, for those who think there is a difference between the God of the Old Testament vs. New Testament, and for those who have always seen Christianity as a bunch of deceived people who worship a bloodthirsty God. All of these issues are talked about in Kenneth's book. My last recommendation is to read it with a friend or as a group so you can discuss this together so as to not feel as if you're alone in the struggle to transform your mind.

God is Only Faithful to His Word.

Absolutely brilliant revelation. This has confirmed what the Lord has been showing me, for some time now, concerning the true path of salvation. I was born again in an Anglican church in 1978. Totally "unchurched" before that. All by the Holy Spirit who continued to lead me in the study of the Word. Many of my fellow believers, including our minister, would not accept what the Lord was showing me. I never knew that it had a name... the wrong version of salvation. Ken, I thank you for putting this word out. I am truly blessed by it. I am on my seventh reading at present. Your brother in Christ, Jack.
